Its been a long time since we’ve updated our website so we thought we’d fill you in on whats been going on in our lives. I was very brave about turning 29. I will be this age for the rest of my life, so you never have to wonder “How old is Angel? Oh, she is 29!” My husband thinks it is funny that I am soooo much older than him. (Like eight months is such a huge age gap.)BUT his day is coming, and I expect all of you to tease him endlessly. The kids are all fine and continue to be the joy of our lives. Paisley is crawling. Micaiah is getting quite the vocabulary. The other day we were playing video games and I stop to talk to Patrick. He turned to me and very annoyed said, “PUSH THE BUTTON WOMAN!” I love it when Patrick teaches him new words!!!! We have a new family member in our house named Johnny Wii. He is a very fun member but has consumed way too much time. He was a present and its cool. We are never this high tech so we feel on the “cutting edge” so to speak. (as if any one would accuse us of being trendy.) Well, the natives are getting restless. Have a great day everyone.

Thought I’d better do another post since its been over a week since the last one. Wish I was writing about the wild vacation we were on this last week, or how we’ve been so busy we just haven’t had the time. But the truth is we lead fairly boring lives (not that we mind). We really don’t do to much news worthy and really don’t want our website to become one of those things like when your grandma pulls out the family photo album or makes you watch a family video of your twice removed 5th aunt’s second birthday party from 58 years ago. One item to note though is that Angel’s birthday is next Thursday October 23rd, her final brithday in her twenties. For you people that are still trying to figure it out she’ll be twenty nine. I’m not sure whether she is planning on celebrating the birthday yet or mourning it but will let you know at a later date. That all for now

Peace

Today was what I’d call a typical Saturday in our family. Usually on Friday night Angel and I our excited about the weekend so we stay up really late. Then Saturday morning Micaiah wakes up earlier than he has the rest of the week by an hr. We wake up groggily and move downstairs to try and get him to watch a cartoon so we can take turns taking a nap while one of us watches the kids. Then we decide to finally get up and do something. Heres the funny part, feels like it should be noon but you look at the clock and its like 830AM. Then for the first part of the morning we are all lacking sleep and grumpy with one another but as the day goes on our grumpiness goes away and we enjoy being together as a family.

As you can see in the picture above we finally figured out to run the camera and get something on the website. This vyanl replaced some nasty old grey carpet in the kitchen. Why someone would want carpet in the kitchen we are not sure. but we do know that we really really like not having carpet in the kitchen.

Below is a pictue of the new carpet we put in the basement. This as well is very very thrilling for us as it replaced old white very cold tile. So nice to be able to walk around in your barefeet or in socks and not feel like your feet and are going to freeze off.

I’m still waiting to download pictures of the new flooring to the site, but wanted to let you know in advance it is absolutley beautiful. Micaiah and Paisley both are enjoying the new flooring as much or even more than their parents. The day we got the carpet installed was like Christmas in September. Micaiah ran around the basement hollering Micaiah’s carpet and Paisley sat on the floor all smiles just playing with her toys and praying that her big brother wouldn’t run her over. Hopefully later today I’ll have pictures of the flooring on the website. If not I guess you’ll just have to wait a little longer.

This week we have been urgently trying to get our house ready to have new flooring installed in both the kitchen and the family room in the basement. We are having vynal installed in the kitchen and carpet installed in the basement. We are anxiously awaiting to get our house put back together once the flooring is installed as it has been torn apart since the beginning of this summer. We’ll will add both before and after pictures as it happens. Later.
